i-FM: The online resource for facilities professionals

FireNet aims to provide an independent opinion on fire-related matters from fire engineering to fire safety advice and specialist activities such as transport and hazmat. Dated web design and structure but plenty of useful information is available including detailed guidance for completing a fire risk assessment in the workplace.

The Fire Protection Association is the UK’s national fire safety organisation, one of 28 similar national bodies worldwide. It was established in 1946 and has strong support from the insurance industry, primarily through the Association of British Insurers and Lloyd’s. The website includes links to articles and news provided by the FPA’s magazine, Fire Risk Management.
