Keith Alexander, Director of CFM and Professor of FM - Salford University - Centre for Facilities Management

Keith is the creator and director of the Centre for Facilities Management (CFM), which was set up in 1990. He also founded EuroFM in 1988 and was president until 2000. In 1998, he was elected an IFMA fellow. 

He has higher education and professional qualifications in architecture and is a chartered architect (RIBA) and a chartered builder (FCIOB). Keith practised as an architect in Northern Ireland from 1972 to 1978. He taught at the School of Architecture at Strathclyde University between 1978 and 1982 and was seconded to National University of Singapore from 1982 to 1984. In 1985 he also created the first Masters programme in Facilities Management at Strathclyde.

Keith is an avid sports fan who has played competitive cricket, rugby, golf and football.
